2004 Red Sox Auto Update

I few months go I started a project to fill a 20 card wall display with autographs of the 2004 Red Sox team.  I got the frame and it's a hair different then the frame i have my Virdons in.  In this case different is better. Not only are the hard cases Betts quality so that the cards don't flop around in the cases but the frame removes from the outside so that you don't have to force it together.

I ran into a problem with my Varitek autograph. The one I already had is a autographed game used card and was too think for the frame.  So I had to replace it with a minor league auto.  I would like to replace this at some point with one of the 2025 Topps 1990 All Star Autos.

I am short some really important autographs.  Over the years I have acquired a lot of Red Sox autographs without really trying but Pedro and Schilling have eluded me.  I don't have Pedro or Schilling autograph money right before Christmas so I have decided to use game used cards in place of autos for now.

The couple recently  acquired aitos that finished the frame of off were:

I was really surprised how few Kevin Millar autos there are in the wild.

I really wanted autographs on vertical Red Sox cards but there were a few players that it just wasn't an option. I had to use a horizontal Indisn card for Alam Embree.

I don't have Nomar as a Red Sox money right before Christmas so ai opted for a pre rookie card.  I'm on the fence about the Nomar.  Not just because of the minor league card but because he wasn't worth them when they won it.  He still got a ring but it's just not the same to me.  I have  a Curt Leskanic auto but it's on a Marlins card.  If it was a Red Sox card I would swap it out for the Nomar but for now Nomar gets the spot.
